We joke about it now, but the ’90s were not kind to Aaron. He was once on the fast track to stardom. Sports Illustrated called him a “phenom,” “the next great American Jai alai player.” He was due to compete internationally in the Basque region of Spain, when a tragic accident occurred. On his way to the airport, his scooter was upended by a half-eaten and petrified Hardee’s cheeseburger. The accident left his right arm in ruins. He would never wear a xister again. Jai alai’s lost was Digital FX’s gain. Aaron is a one-man Pixar studio who creates some of the best 3D animation and modeling in the business.
