Kathy’s soft-spoken manner and subtle demeanor reveals very little about the true Kathy Brignac. Though she rarely lets anyone know it, she’s a former national champion in the professional boxing league of Ukraine. She was nicknamed the Borohb Kynak, translated roughly in english – “The Fire Fist.” While she was kicked out of the league for her habit of cursing out referees in Swahili (one of 8 languages she speaks), her legend only grows in the Ukraine. There are statues in her honor, streets named after her and a million-dollar black-market T-Shirt industry based entirely on her legend. The Fire Fist left the “sweet science” to join Digital FX as our office manager. She gets things done. But, if you cross her, you may find yourself face down on the ground with a black eye getting cursed out in Swahili. You don’t want that – trust us.
