When you’re on set, in production, you want every possible tool available to you when you need it. The RED is unlike any other camera on the market today and so are it’s accessories. They are specifically made for RED and are not widely available — except at Digital FX. There’s nothing worse than having to delay production when the equipment you need is not available to you. On top of our mind-blowing RED collection, we have the region’s only RED-specific digital workflows in the region. As one of the earliest adopters of the RED, we have had extensive experience in real-world productions with the camera and the technology. Workflows
We offer the region’s only RED specific DI workflows in addition to workflows from the ARRIFLEX D-21 digital cinema camera and Vision Research Phantom Cine cameras.
Dailies
Waiting for your dailies is now a thing of the past. With our RED digital workflow, you get almost immediate access to dailies. Your footage can be made available on a secure client web page, or we can deliver dailies in multiple formats including DVD, iPhone, iPodTouch, DVCAM and HDCAM SR.
Screenings
RED footage is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. With the detail of HD and the organic look and feel of film, RED images are nothing short of stunning. So what better way to view footage than in our brand new 2K theater – the only one in the region.
RED Processing
While the RED may be new and innovative, it can also be a bit intimidating for editors unaccustomed to the process. The good news is that they don’t have to change a thing. We can deliver RED footage in any format to plug directly into your editing system.
For example, if you use AVID, we will deliver a hard drive with RED footage already formatted to work directly with AVID. Your editors will be able to edit footage within hours of shooting. Now, you’ll know if your scenes work or not within hours. With our digital workflow, it’s just plug and play.

The RED, and resulting workflows, is a revolution in filmmaking and we have tailored our studio to take full advantage of all the RED has to offer. The result is the FX RED LAB. The LAB is a series of workflows all originating from RED footage utilizing the very latest in editing and effects technology.
