The Digital Intermediate (DI) process is the technique of posting film digitally in HD, 2K and even 4K for editing, visual effects, and color grading before final output. DI allows for playback in real time at full resolution and you can respond immediately to any changes necessary. Additionally, during this process you can compare online to offline via real-time and split screen views.

The DI process also allows for unprecedented quality, control and flexibility. Unlike traditional finishing methods, with DI you can adjust color, contrast and brightness of the image separately, allowing for infinite flexibility and unparalleled control.
